Pre, During and After

Remember, this is a nutritional cleanse (HEALTH GAIN) designed to give your digestive system a rest and therefore allow your body to focus on eliminating toxins. Many people do lose weight, but you should consider it just a bonus side effect. If you're already slim and eating well you may not lose much weight. Others who are (even slightly) overweight and are transitioning from a highly processed, low-nutrient diet may lose a pound a day. Hopefully, your Go Organic ME cleanse will make you think about what you put in your mouth daily. If you begin your cleanse with the mindset that this is your ‘reset’ button and maintain a plant and wholefood based alkalkine diet, you will keep the weight off, and maintain your ‘cleansing glow’!

If you are pregnant or elderly, a cleanse is NOT suitable, but drinking a juice to add to your healthy eating plan is a great idea.If you’re on medication, you should check with your doctor before beginning any juice cleanse.There are absolutely NO animal or dairy products in our juice and they are 100% gluten-free and 100% vegan.

PRE/DURING/POST CLEANSE.

Pre-cleansing phase

  1. Glass of warm water with lemon: introduce a glass of warm water with lemon first thing in the morning. This enables your digestive system to wake up efficiently and encourages initial release of toxins.
  2. Reduce all those delicious indulgences: wheat, dairy, coffee, sugar, high fat foods, alcohol, bad fats and red meat.
  3. Fruit and vegetable juice: Introduce fresh fruit and vegetable juices, raw greens and vegetables.
  4. Avoid having a big dinner the night before you start otherwise the initial side-effects of your 1st day cleanse may become more intense.
  5. Exercise: Do more intense detoxifying exercises daily prior to your detox: jogging, swimming, yoga. The whole-body exercise is great for eliminating toxins even without embarking on any detox plan.
  6. Hot bath: Have a warm to hot bath with some Epsom Bath Salt in the evening. It is used to remove toxins from the body, reduce swelling and improve skin structure, relieve muscles pain, ease stress and for general body relaxation.
  7. Mind set: Work on your mind set. It is as important, in some cases even more so, as the physical preparation of your body before the cleansing. Remember the saying: ‘Deal with your mind and the body will follow’.

Cleansing phase

We would recommend that you continue implement points 1, 6 and 7 from your Pre-Cleansing phase while on detox. You may also wish to follow additional steps while being on detox:

  1. Stay hydrated: Being hydrated with water/herbal tea between juices is a must. This will also ease the dreaded "coffee withdrawal headache".
  2. Dry brushing: Do dry brushing before your bath, shower and exercise as lymphatic massage helps to stimulate metabolism and detoxify your body.
  3. Sauna, steam rooms: Both assist your body in mobilising stored fat, which becomes water soluble around 42 degrees and then expelled from your body via sweat.
  4. Exercise: Do more intense detoxifying exercises daily prior to your detox: jogging, swimming, yoga. The whole-body exercise is great for eliminating toxins even without embarking on any detox plan.
  5. Contrast Shower: Alternate between hot and cold water. Higher temperature dilates the vessels and encourages the flow of lymph and blood. As the result, toxins can be eliminated in areas where the circulation of these fluids had been sluggish. The sharper the contrast between the hot and the cold water the better the effects will be.
  6. Body massage: make your masseuse aware of your cleansing programme so that she could massage the area of the liver helping the cleansingeffect. Head massage is also very beneficial to the detox process.

We have created a comprehensive cleansing program that is practical, user-friendly and that caters to all nutritional lifestyles, from the most disciplined raw food enthusiasts to the fast food lovers looking to periodically offset the damages of indulgence.

A daily supply of six, 500ml beverages are delivered at a convenient time the day before your cleanse starts.

Once you receive or pick up your cleanse package, you will find each beverage clearly labelled in order from one to six in re-sealable, recyclable plastic containers.

You drink the first one (1) in the morning and the last one (6) at least two hours before you go to bed. Usually customers feel best when they consume their beverages approximately two hours apart.

Each beverage is designed to replace solid foods and snacks, and it is important to wave goodbye to alcohol, energy drinks, caffeine, and nicotine while you are on a cleanse program.

If you’re feeling desperate, its ok.. We are all human and our team will help you through any detox crisis. While we recommend eliminating all solid foods, we realize that sometimes you just can’t resist.

Add a pinch of sea salt to your beverages for extra energy. If you need something warm or savory to add at dinnertime, consume some low ​sodium veg broth.
