Holy Basil - A miracle herb

Tulsi or Holy basil is a potent herb that has been used in India for thousands of years to treat colds, coughs, and the flu. According to Ayurveda, holy basil helps in promoting purity and lightness in body. It also helps in cleansing the respiratory tract of toxins. A great aid to relieve one from digestive gas and bloating.

Tulsi is a bushy shrub that grows to about 18 inches in height with leaves which are oval and serrated.

It is great to cure one from acne, asthma,headache, heart diseases, kidney stone, lung disorders and respiratory disorders.

I thought it would be great to add this amazing herb on our juices and this is what we did. Our Karma Ayurveda has Holy basil added in it.

With added Tulsi, Aloevera and gooseberries, this juice can be had every day in the morning to flush off all the toxins.
